Cleo is a mitted blue, pedigree ragdoll who has been with us since Jun 2025. She initially came to us for Milo’s services which was unsuccesful. The owner contacted us shortly after asking us if we wanted to take her on a permanent basis. After thinking it through for about ten nanoseconds and we collected her from Rotherham.
Cleo had been brought up in a household of dogs and was quite skittish. She wanted to meet everyone but it always ended up with her being stressed. Her decompression lasted 3 weeks instead of 3 days and eventually she started to unwind and get to know our neutered housecats Monty and Merlin. After another couple of weeks she finally fitted in with the breeding clowder. She was very unsure and confused by playtime and wasn’t a cuddly girl at all. She came in heat and became very cuddly towards Milo and fell pregnant.
As with all pregnant queens she instantly loved being cuddled and wanted to be with us quite a lot. Her first scan showed she was carrying 4 kittens. The pregancy went extremely well, she was loved by all the other cats and Gemma and her due date came about quickly. Cleo had an uneventful birth producing 4 beautiful kittens, all boys. Cleo was a fantastic mother, the kittens all gained weight quickly. Cleo introduced the kittens to the clowder and they were instant hits.
After Cleo’s kittens moved to their forever homes Cleo quickly settled and has now become a very cuddly, loving, playful cat. She has a new safe place which is on the back of the settee just by my head.
Cleo is planned for covering in March 26 and we look forward to welcoming her next litter.
